This is me at the Garden of the Gods visitors center in Colorado. The red rocks are beautiful! The other photo is also the Garden of the Gods from the roadway that goes thru the park.(They have a lovely website, but I can't get it to link correctly- so just google it and you will find it. Hee Hee)

Part the FirstSo last Friday we left Alabama around 715 to start on our cross-country trip. The weather was clear but cold when we left. We got to Paducah, KY, around lunch time and stopped at Logans for a good lunch ( good thing we did!). There was major construction on the interstate between Paducah and the Illinois state line so we were held up in single file traffic for a couple of hours.

So today Piper got her last puppy shots. She is now 10 lbs 5.5 oz. She was a little more nervous about the whole vet thing this time because last time she got a shot that really burned. So I had a blog before, but it didn't last long. ( And I really didn't need to be paying for a blog at the time.)
