Be forwarned to take some Tylenol the next couple of days afterward. I ran a fever for a couple of days like I do with the blasted Tetanus shot. But I don't want to get the flu again like I did two winters ago ( when my dog at home died- talk about a bad week!)

The Case of the Missing Check

So I realize on the way to work very early this am- thru the sleepy fog I was in- that I needed to take my rent check up to the office. When I got home tonight, I looked on my table for it because that is where I last left it. I had straightened up some and taken stuff off the table and put it away. So at first when I didn't find the check, I thought maybe it was upstairs with the papers I had taken upstairs. I looked through that twice and didn't find it. I came back downstairs and went through the few remaining items on the table. Still not there. Finally, much to Piper's delight, I got down on the floor and looked under the bench that is here in the dining room. I found Piper's green ball and a rose stem from Kari's flowers for the wedding, but no check. As I was getting up, I glanced under the table. There is was. Taunting me. Sitting up in the chair. The check. Ah, all is well now.
